Réhabilitation Trois Quartiers, Paris
The transformation of the facades of this 1930s building is an opportunity to offer occupants new uses. The reinterpreted street facades open widely onto continuous balconies, allowing occupants to enjoy outdoor space on all floors and to open and ventilate the offices naturally. The building loses its current hermetic nature to open up and interact with the city. In addition, the characteristic Art Deco facades have been preserved, regaining the side frames that were removed during the 1990s renovation. At the heart of the building, the office floors have been reorganized and freed from their technical impacts to make them more legible.
